Matching A Replacement HEPA Filter For Your Application
When replacing an existing HEPA filter, it is critical that you exactly match the characteristics of the new filter to those of the used filter.
HEPA Filters have unique characteristics that allow them to fit properly into a specific housing or frame type and seal against that frame to prevent air bypass. HEPA filters can also be selected to meet certain flow, temperature or airstream conditions. Selecting a replacement filter that does not match the original HEPA filter can cause air bypass or may cause the filter to fail prematurely or not meet the original system design intent.
