1. RYDALL Biodegradable Degreasers
1.1. RYDALL CC Biodegradable Coil Cleaner Degreaser
RYDALL CC is a biodegradable Coil Cleaner specifically designed to clean the toughest dirt, greases and soil residues from air-exposed surfaces of critical cooling or heating equipment.
RYDALL CC safely cleans and brightens air-cooled condensers, permanent air filters, evaporator coils, window mounted air conditioning units and any other finned cooling/heating coils or equipment.
RYDALL CC is non-corrosive, non-hazardous and biodegradable. This means that RYDALL CC will not corrode or tarnish aluminum or other metal surfaces, is safe for the user, and can be safely disposed of down normal drains.
RYDALL CC is a powerful, safe coil cleaner that is applied as a non-foaming spray or through a foaming applicator to penetrate deep into the coil beds. This provides the user with the most versatile coil cleaner available, and eliminates the need to carry multiple products to accomplish one simple job.
When Your coils become fouled with dirt, grease, soil residue, dust, leaves, insects or other contaminants, the designed heat exchange is significantly reduced and your operating costs increase exponentially. Cleaning your coils at least twice a year with RYDALL CC will restore your heat exchange, reduce your energy consumption, and extend the useful life of your equipment.
1.2. RYDALL CX Biodegradable Crude Oil Exchanger Degreaser
RYDALL CX is considered to be probably the most unique biodegradable crude deposit cleaner available! It is specifically designed for cleaning Crude oil eXchangers where Pyrophoric Iron Sulfides are present in the Carbon-based process side deposits.
RYDALL CX can be used in Petroleum Refineries to clean critical process exchangers without having to pull the bundles or dismantle the exchanger.
RYDALL CX is a heavy-duty industrial degreaser that is water-soluble, non-solvent, and inhibited with surfactants. This chemistry makes it suitable for either mixing with water or with petroleum byproducts that are widely applied in safe chemical cleaning applications.
Highly concentrated, RYDALL CX is normally utilized in a diluted format, and typically heated to approximately 175ºF. Critical factors for the success of chemical cleaning using RYDALL CX are to use it at the prescribed temperature, with adequate heat exchanger inlet and outlet diameters that ensure unobstructed solution flow and with the proper pump pressure to circulate the solution through the heat exchanger or equipment. When these conditions are met, the exchanger will be completely clean to its core.
Combine the best in safe chemical cleaning technologies by using RYDLYME Biodegradable Descaler to fully clean and descale the water-side of your exchangers. The result is complete cleaning, significantly reduced turnaround time and never pulling a bundle for cleaning again!
1.3. RYDALL DD Biodegradable Heavy-Duty Industrial Degreaser
RYDALL DD Definitive Degreaser is a Biodegradable, Citrus-Based, Heavy-Duty Industrial Degreaser. This cleaning solution demulsifies light carbons and breaks the oil bond that holds together all of the different hydrocarbons in fouling residues.
RYDALL DD is a water-soluble, non-butyl, non-phosphate, non-corrosive, alkali, emulsifier. This innovative product is used specifically on all carbon-based derivatives that are found on the oil and/or process side of your critical equipment or systems.
RYDALL DD has many uses including degreasing and cleaning of: heat exchangers, lube oil coolers, machine parts, and any other hydrocarbon-fouled equipment found in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, power, and petroleum industries.
Highly concentrated, RYDALL DD is used in a diluted format, and is typically heated to approximately 150ºF, but can be used at ambient temperatures. The added water component becomes an integral part of RYDALL DD´s cleaning action by flushing demulsified oils and particles from the fouled surfaces. Heavier hydrocarbons (tars, cokes, varnishes, etc.) are washed out as well, even if they are not completely dissolved. This is because RYDALL DD is able to break the bonds that are holding all of the particles together, releasing them so they can be easily removed by the flowing solution.
1.4. RYDALL MP Multi-Purpose Biodegradable Degreaser
RYDALL MP is a Medium-Duty Multi-Purpose surface degreaser and cleaner for industrial and commercial plants, facilities and households.
RYDALL MP removes oil, grease, soot, fat, grime, dirt, nicotine and all kinds of other pollutants from all types of surfaces. This strong, versatile and biodegradable degreaser comes in a highly concentrated, non-hazardous form and may be diluted to fit virtually any cleaning application.
RYDALL MP is a water-soluble, mineral oil-free, alkaline solution that contains specially modified additives for improved oil holding capacity, surface wetting and low foaming attributes. RYDALL MP Multi-Purpose degreaser is one of the strongest, non-solvent based, degreasers available on the market.
For extremely tough, stubborn stains, use RYDALL MP full strength and watch it penetrate under the residues on machines and equipment as dissolves all the accumulated surface deposits. Yet, when diluted with water, it becomes a light-duty cleaner for a multitude of applications.
RYDALL MP can be used as an oil dispersant or an all-around detergent without harmful affects to: iron, steel, nonferrous metals, plastic, glass, paint, chrome, copper, brass, or other common water-washable surfaces. This versatile concentrate lasts far longer than other ready-to-use brands, making it a perfect fit for your industrial or janitorial supplies.
1.5. RYDALL VP Biodegradable Circulation/Vapor Phase Application Degreaser
RYDALL VP is a biodegradable cleaner/degreaser specifically designed for refinery process vessel cleaning and degassing. This revolutionary product reduces downtime, labor and water required for cleaning and degassing storage tanks and refinery process equipment.
RYDALL VP can be applied in circulation or Vapor Phase applications.
In Vapor Phase applications, RYDALL VP will remove oil, gas, LEL, H2S and benzene - with the added benefit of cleaning up to 70% of the hydrocarbon deposits in a single application.
When applied, steam saturated with vapor phase RYDALL VP condenses on any hydrocarbon residue coating vessel walls, increasing the temperature of the residue. Once the residue is heated, vapor phase RYDALL VP will continue to penetrate through the residue and condense on the metal vessel surface, wetting it. Hydrocarbon residues can then be easily flushed away.
All vapors, gases, and other volatile components will be carried out through the venting of steam, usually to the low point drains and plant flare header. Remaining hydrocarbon residues and sludge that accumulate in the bottom of the vessel will be emulsified by the steam condensate and vapor phase RYDALL VP that also runs down to the bottom.
Typical Applications for Vapor Phase Cleaning with RYDALL VP Include:
Preheaters
Vacuum Units
Crude Heat Exchangers
Flare Lines
Transfer Lines
Fractionator Units
Sulphur Recovery Units
Knock Out Drums
